The position at a glance
What’s my role as a PopUp Pioneer?
Our Pioneers present and promote various food products to foodservice owners/operators (a.k.a. independently-owned coffee shops and restaurants). As a pioneer, you will visit restaurants, meet and talk to the people who run and work in the restaurants – owners, managers, chefs and baristas about innovative groups of products that matter to consumers and help restaurants improve their menus and operations. You have the freedom and flexibility to work around your schedule.
How long does the gig last?
Our Promotions last 10 weeks.
How will I be compensated?
As a Pioneer, you’ll earn a guaranteed hourly rate1 and will have the opportunity to earn bonuses by achieving specific goals.2

Becoming a Pioneer
How do I apply?
The application is completed online. To start the application, go to Get Started on the Homepage or at the top Navigation.
What are the requirements to become a PopUp Promotions Pioneer?
You must be at least 18 years old, be eligible to work in the United States, pass a background check and have a working smart phone. Depending on the area, you may also need to have a valid U.S. driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle. Please refer to your specific market for details.
What if I don’t have much sales experience?
You do not need to have sales experience to become a Pioneer – selling is easy if you enjoy interacting with people and care about food. The products have been handpicked by industry experts and carefully combined so that Pioneers can easily learn what they need to know to promote them. If you are enthusiastic, enjoy meeting new people and are a good communicator, you will succeed as a Pioneer!
How long does the application process last?
The application only takes a few minutes online! The entire process will be completed once a background check is run and you have attended your Meet & Greet. You can sign up for one of the available Meet & Greet events on the final step of the application. On average, the entire process takes between 1 to 7 days.
What should I expect from the Meet & Greet?
PopUp Promotions is all about connecting people. The Meet & Greet is our chance to meet you and for you to meet us. We can provide you with details about the promotion and answer any questions you may have.
If I cannot make it to my meet & greet, can I re-schedule?
You can re-schedule your Meet & Greet by signing in to your applicant account and changing your selected time and location from the list of available opportunities. The Meet & Greet step is mandatory. If you cannot make any of the Meet & Greet events available in your area, please contact us and we will do our best to find you another opportunity.
